What is Reiki Healing?
Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a Japanese term usually translated as "Universal Life Force". It is made up of two ideograms; Rei meaning "Universal" and Ki meaning "Life Force".

Reiki is based on the premise that there is a higher power/universal energy, it is not based on a religion, but rather a belief that we are all capable of channeling the universal energy around us and our love and energy and direct that as 'healing'.

How Does it Work?
Pretty simply really - you tune into the reiki energy, channel it and then directs it to the person in need. This is normally done by resting the hands upon (or above) the person receiving and allowing the energy to flow from the palms of the hand to the recipient.

Can Anyone do it?
Yes !! And this is the great thing about reiki. It is accessible to everyone, no experience is necessary, and you don't have to be a member of a particular religion or sect. A belief in a higher power and your own ability and willingness to access it is the starting point.

You will learn how to meditate and channel the energy, where to place your hands on or above the person receiving healing, it can also be used for animals.

Please come along with an open mind and heart and be willing to give and receive healing.

You will be taught everything you need to know to give healing to yourself, friends and family and pets.

This level of knowledge does not allow you to gain insurance to practise on the general public.

This is not a substitute for seeing a health professional or GP.

I am looking forward to teaching and working with you, and remember no previous knowledge or experience is needed.
