Chinese Brush Painting

Chinese brush painting is an ancient art form. The group will learn about the “four treasures”, the materials used i.e. watercolours, rice paper, ink and ink stone and learn the handling of the brush and basic strokes then take it from there.

Painting for Pleasure

We are a very friendly and enthusiastic group  who just paint for pleasure, doing our own thing in the media of our choice. No tuition is given but we help each other as and if required.

Sewing Bee

The group will work on all aspects of dress making, including materials and design, and may ultimately complete their own projects. 

Week 2, Tuesday, 2pm-4pm

A Stitch in Time

The aim of the group is to work together to share knowledge and experience of patchwork, quilting and sewing, plus other textile projects so that all members can continue to progress towards their own goals.

Time: Week 2, Thursday, 10.00 – 1.00pm
